‘Batman v Superman’ and ‘Suicide Squad’ are crushing Marvel by 500%

Variety has teamed up with ListenFirst Digital Audience Ratings to measure social media trends across platforms like Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, Wikipedia and YouTube. According to their most recent report, Warner Bros. has the most anticipated superhero movies of 2016 with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.
Among the slew of comic book films set for release in 2016, including new “Captain America” and “X-Men” adaptations, early social and digital tracking places “Suicide Squad” and “Batman v Superman” 500% stronger than competitors based on standing at the same point pre-release. “Batman v Superman” is currently the #1 film by volume, followed by “Suicide Squad” and “Deadpool.”

He shocked audiences all over the world with his portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight. In 2009, Ledger was honored with a posthumous Oscar award for his chilling performance.

LEGO BATMAN 60's Series
Although we talked about it last week, LEGO apparently wanted to hold off until today — the 50th anniversary of the premiere of the 1966 Batman series — to make it official: The LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman: Classic TV Series – Batcave will arrive in stores in March.
Along with the announcement arrives the first official images of the elaborate 2,500-piece set, which includes not just the Batmobile, Batcycle and Batcopter, but also a whopping nine figurines.

I didn't know this...

Batman v Superman Battle Armor Batman

Toyriffic: Batman v Superman Battle Armor Batman :: I AM IRON...:
Batman v Superman merchandise is hitting retail now. I found the basic assortment of action figures at Target today and picked up the Battle Armor Batman figure!

No matter what comes of the movie itself, this Batman action figure is a pretty faithful representation of Batman in The Dark Knight Returns, when he armors up to battle (distract) Superman. No matter what you think of Batfleck now or after you see the movie, I think fans of TDKR will still be very pleased with the visual aesthetic of this figure and will find it hard to resist.

Check out the link above for lots more pictures!

Friday Bat-Humour

60's Batman LEGO set !?!?!?!

It looks like the LEGO Batman Classic TV Batcave will include nine Minifigures,(Batman, Robin, Bruce Wayne (Adam West), Dick Grayson (Burt Ward), Alfred Pennyworth the Butler, The Joker, The Riddler, The Penguin and Catwoman Minifigures) all of which are exclusives in these iterations (although I believe Dick Grayson is the only character we’ve never seen released as a minifig before in his non-Robin guise).
